February 18, 2010 Hello Everyone, First of all, I would like to thank those of you who supported our most senior heroes by purchasing tickets for “Red” a Tribute by Tom Mullica to Red Skelton. Regretfully, HF NWO has had to cancel the Red Skelton Tribute shows as illness has caused the entertainer to temporarily postpone his tour. We hope to reschedule the fund raiser next fall after our flying season concludes but refunds are in the process of being issued and we appreciate your patience during this time. We are contemplating a November or early December date for the rescheduled event and hope you will support us again at that time. Please check our website for updates when the time gets a little closer. If you do not have a computer, please feel free to call us after September 1st and we will be happy to relay the rescheduled date to you. For those of you who have flown with us and are planning on attending the REUNION on Saturday, February 27, 2010, the REUNION WILL CONTINUE AS PLANNED. The reunion will begin at noon and we will serve lunch around 12:30 PM. If you purchased tickets for the “Red” Tribute for Friday, February 26th or Saturday, February 27th and were not a part of the reunion, you will be receiving a refund for the tickets (or the check you wrote if it has not already been cashed). If you were planning on coming to the reunion based solely on seeing the “Red” Tribute, please notify me and I will gladly mail you a refund as well. Please keep Tom and his family in your prayers. He sends his regrets as he was truly looking forward to spending time with some of his comrades and performing the shows for so many of our veterans, their families, friends and supporters of Honor Flight.
